OUR STUDENTS SAY

I applied for the Diaspora Scholarship Program because it gave me the opportunity to be closer to my family and to relatives while it also allowed me to learn more about Hungarian culture. Hunor Szabó Canada When I heard my mum speak Hungarian, I thought I wanted to learn this wonderful sounding language, but I couldn't find a school in Kazakhstan where I could do that. So I was very happy that the Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship finally made my dream come true. Vlada Bocskorás Volkova Kazakhstan The Diaspora Scholarship Program has been an invaluable opportunity to further my academic career and to make lasting connections to Hungarian culture and heritage. I’m very grateful to the programme for the incredible people I’ve met and the amazing places I’ve been. Victoria Leiti United States of America I’ve been a member of the Hungarian communities abroad for my whole life and coming to Hungary with the Diaspora Scholarship has allowed me to immerse myself in Hungarian culture a lot more as well as pursue my dream career. Emese Róza Márka United States of America The program has given me so much: it provided the opportunity to live in Hungary, to meet my partner, to get closer to Hungarian culture, and to meet many different people. Fizli Tisza United States of America
