Nearly 150 scholarship holders gathered at the Rákóczi Camp in Sátoraljaújhely for a weekend meetup aimed at building connections and further exploring Hungarian culture.
Protecting our nature is a common responsibility all over the world and the three biggest Hungarian environmental NGOs, including WWF, launched a public initiative to establish the Day of Hungarian Nature, which we celebrate on 22 May. Furthermore, on this day the Bird of the Year, the Reptile and Amphibian of the Year, and the Butterfly of the Year are introduced for the people to raise awareness of the natural values of Hungary.

Hungary has achieved outstanding success in many sports over the past decades. Our athletes among others, have won multiple Olympic gold medals. On 6 May 1875, the Hungarian Athletics Club organised its very first outdoor sports competition of both Hungary and Europe. To commemorate the occasion, we have celebrated Hungarian Sports Day on this day since 2000.
