Here is what you need to know in a nutshell:

Inspiring courses: Choose from a wide array of courses from top Hungarian universities and education institutions ranging from Hungarian language courses to thematic classes lasting from 2 to 4 weeks.

Community experience: Make new friendships with fellow diaspora students and international students from all around the world!

Hungarian cultural programs: Discover your Hungarian heritage with fun social activities, while you can explore the richness of Hungarian culture, in the iconic cities of Hungary from excursions to wine tastings or dance classes.



  • Open to all applicants of Hungarian descent living in the diaspora outside of Europe.
  • If you are a Diaspora scholarship holder already, you can only apply if your previous scholarship status is terminated until the start of the chosen Hungarian Summer University Course.
