We’re looking for students studying with the Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship to be featured in our upcoming videos. This is your chance to show what it means to live between two worlds—and to find your home in Hungary.
Be the main character. Be the voice of student life in Hungary.

Video Shoot – Key Details
- Location: any Hungarian university town
- Date: Spring 2026 (exact date TBD)
- Duration: 1 day (including lunch break)
Theme: Finding your way home and discovering new paths in Hungary through the Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship
We will focus on you: the highs and lows, meaningful moments, struggles, and achievements—everything that shaped your Hungarian identity.

Apply, if
- You are currently enrolled at a Hungarian university,
- you hold a Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship, and
- you have at least basic Hungarian language skills.
How to Apply
Deadline: 13 May 2026, 12:00 PM (CET)
Your application should include:
- Your full name
- Your host institution
- Your study programme
- Your Hungarian level (pick one):
- Rookie – You can order a coffee on campus, ask for directions if you can’t find a classroom, and understand an assignment when it’s explained slowly.
- Pro – You chat in Hungarian with classmates after lectures and handle Neptun or dorm admin on your own.
- Legend – You present in Hungarian, answer follow‑up questions, and discuss academic topics.
- A short selfie video (max. 1 minute) on: Finding your home in Hungary.
Important: Multi‑step selection process
After submitting your application, the following steps will take place:
- Pre‑interview (online) – to learn more about your story
- Final selection – based on narrative strength, diversity, and on‑camera readiness
Final decisions will be shared after all steps are completed. All applicants will be notified.
