Located in the North-West of Hungary at Győr, Széchenyi István University has more than 45 years of experience in the fields of transportation and telecommunication. Right now, it has more than 12 000 students, with over 600 teaching and research staff members. Thanks to its unique partnerships with many industrial companies in the region (such as Audi, Bosch, IBM and many others), the university offers outstanding training and research possibilities for its students. At Széchenyi István University, you can choose from 41 courses in 6 departments, taught mostly in English or in Hungarian. The university offers a wide scale of degree and training programmes from BA/ Bsc to doctoral level – from medicine and health, through IT and economic studies, to teacher training, sports and music. For instance, there are programmes in Vehicle Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Architecture, and you can also choose from such special programmes as Doctoral programme in Animal science, in Informatics, or in Food science.
