Nearly 150 scholarship holders gathered at the Rákóczi Camp in Sátoraljaújhely for a weekend meetup aimed at building connections and further exploring Hungarian culture.
On November 15-17, about 150 Diaspora and Balassi scholarship holders gathered for a memorable weekend at the Rákóczi Camp in Sátoraljaújhely. The event organised by the Rákóczi Association was an amazing opportunity for students from different Hungarian cities and universities to connect and get in touch with their Hungarian heritage together.
During the weekend, lasting memories were guaranteed. Besides networking and making new friendships, scholarship holders visited a local winery and had the opportunity to learn traditional folk dances as well.
The event was opened by Miklós Lengyel, the Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and Csongor Csáky, the president of the Rákóczi Association.
