The halls of Hungary’s presidential residence echoed with history and hospitality as Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship holders stepped inside the Sándor Palace—where past and present meet.

The Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship holders recently had the unique opportunity to visit the Sándor Palace, the official residence and office of the President of Hungary.
During a guided tour, the students explored the palace’s historic rooms and ceremonial halls, gaining insight into its rich past—from the legendary Count Sándor Móricz to the many distinguished residents who shaped its legacy. The tour offered a glimpse into Hungary’s cultural and political history, brought to life through stories and architectural grandeur.

The highlight of the visit was a personal greeting from Dr Tamás Sulyok, President of Hungary, who welcomed the students and acknowledged their commitment to strengthening ties between Hungary and the global Hungarian community.
