Visiting the National Theatre – HÖOK Diaspora Mentoring Program Event
Join us for a Joyous Afternoon at Hungary’s National Theatre! 🎭
Dive into the epic world of János Vitéz (“John the Valiant”) with a captivating performance inspired by Sándor Petőfi’s 19th-century poem. This tale follows a young shepherd named John, who, after being forced to leave his home, embarks on a thrilling adventure brimming with challenges and wonders. As he traverses mystical lands, he confronts formidable foes, outsmarts villains, and battles mythical creatures—all in his unwavering quest to reunite with his true love. This Hungarian classic is not just a cornerstone of Hungarian literature but also a vibrant reflection of folklore and identity.
Please note: The production is in Hungarian.
