The most popular study fields for scholarship holders this year were Medicine<\/strong>, the Hungarian Language Preparatory Programme<\/strong>, Computer Science<\/strong>, and Business Administration and Management<\/strong>\u2014all available in English. While many students applied for undergraduate programmes, graduate and non-degree programmes also saw significant interest.<\/p>\n

Countries Represented<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The scholarship is open to members of the Hungarian diaspora from outside the European Union, the Republic of Serbia, and the Zakarpattia Oblast of Ukraine. In 2025, applications came from various countries worldwide, with more than 50% of applicants hailing from the United States, Canada, and Israel<\/strong>, underscoring the global reach of the programme.<\/p>\n
