Come join us to visit the Zsolnay Quarter<\/a> in P\u00e9cs!<\/p>\n

Let’s go on a time-travel trip together to the 19th century and explore the wonders of the Zsolnay Cultural Quarter. The Zsolnay family has established a factory here producing porcelain. The whole quarter is covered with their world famous product, making it a Hungaricum, well worth visiting.<\/p>\n

We will discover the beautifully restored 5-hectare area with a total of 15 protected historic buildings and 88 public Zsolnay statues. Every square meter of the quarter holds so many attractions and unique exhibitions presenting the Zsolnay heritage.<\/p>\n

For mentees studying in P\u00e9cs:\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Please note that if you register to this program as a mentee studying at the University of P\u00e9cs, you will have a guaranteed place in the event. Side note: The tickets are valid for 48 hours, so you can enter the exhibitions on Sunday too.<\/p>\n

Meeting point for students traveling from Budapest: Keleti P\u00e1lyaudvar in front of the Passenger Centrum in the Underpass.<\/p>\n

Arrival at Zsolnay Quarter: 11:00<\/p>\n

Meeting point for students traveling from P\u00e9cs: Zsolnay Quarter, Fels\u0151v\u00e1mh\u00e1z u. 52, 7626<\/p>\n

Meeting time for students traveling from P\u00e9cs: 08.03.2025, 11:00 am<\/p>\n

Guided tour: 12:00-12:50<\/p>\n

Lunch: 13:00-14:00 (the lunch will be together at a restaurant, about which the registered students will be notified later. Please give details on your allergies or diets at “information on health status” section during registration)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Exhibitions and Zsolnay Mausoleum: 14:00-16:30<\/p>\n

Back to Budapest: the train departs at 17:14 (last train: 19:14)<\/p>\n
