DESCRIPTION:Delve into the world of nuclear power and scientific innovation by visiting a real-life nuclear\nreactor at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME)!\nDesigned in the 1960’s by Hungarian engineers and physicists, this 100kW light water\nmoderated and cooled reactor is still used to this day to train and further advance the\nresearch of Budapest’s finest students and academics.\nPlease note: The guided tour requires a minimum of 10 participants, we kindly ask that you\nto sign up only if your attendance is certain!\nMeeting Point: Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) Building R, Main Entrance\nTime and date: Monday, 2nd June, 12:30.\nPlease don’t be late, as we need to do some paperwork before we can start the tour.\nREGISTER HERE!\nThis program is mainly for first-year diaspora students, therefore alumni students’\nregistration might be deleted. We are planning to open the registration again for alumni and\nfor those who are on the waiting list, if there are free spaces. We would like to draw your\nattention that if you are unable to attend our program, please notify us via the provided\nemail address. In case you do not cancel your registration 24 hours before the program on\nthree occasions, we will not be able to secure a spot for you in our programs.
