DESCRIPTION:Come join us to visit the Zsolnay Quarter in Pécs!\nLet’s go on a time-travel trip together to the 19th century and explore the wonders of the Zsolnay Cultural Quarter. The Zsolnay family has established a factory here producing porcelain. The whole quarter is covered with their world famous product, making it a Hungaricum, well worth visiting.\nWe will discover the beautifully restored 5-hectare area with a total of 15 protected historic buildings and 88 public Zsolnay statues. Every square meter of the quarter holds so many attractions and unique exhibitions presenting the Zsolnay heritage.\nFor mentees studying in Pécs: \nPlease note that if you register to this program as a mentee studying at the University of Pécs, you will have a guaranteed place in the event. Side note: The tickets are valid for 48 hours, so you can enter the exhibitions on Sunday too.\nProgram:\nMeeting point for students traveling from Budapest: Keleti Pályaudvar in front of the Passenger Centrum in the Underpass.\nMeeting time for students traveling from Budapest: 08.03.2025, 7:20 am\nArrival at Zsolnay Quarter: 11:00\nMeeting point for students traveling from Pécs: Zsolnay Quarter, Felsővámház u. 52, 7626\nMeeting time for students traveling from Pécs: 08.03.2025, 11:00 am\nGuided tour: 12:00-12:50\nLunch: 13:00-14:00 (the lunch will be together at a restaurant, about which the registered students will be notified later.
